It's not mine. I'm asking for a friend...

Note: no paid vacation, or time off, but you can choose to take weeks off without consequence or risk of being fired.

That's a DAMN good income even if your vacation time isn't paid.

Can't you use a calculator?

104,000 a year?

50/hour (for an 8 hour day)?

Not too shabby. Of course it depends on what your fiend does. Everything's relative.

He shouldn't accept that. That is a terrible income. While your "friend" is at it, should ask for at least 1K a day. That is the going rate for people that ask these questions on the internet.

Not to be mean here, but if you & your friend have to ask if $400/day is any good, hundreds of others would have swiped that job up so fast in the meantimne while you two are still trying to figure out if that pay's any good or not!

I worry about you two if you have to wonder if that is considered good pay.

You might as well have asked "Do olives taste good?"

It's all relative.... I like olives.... and for me, $400 a day would be a very nice and welcomed income!

I'm calling BS, a misunderstanding, or a major catch with this job. $400 a day? Doing what? For how many hours per day?

Anyone who can make that much per day, and has to ask if that's good money......

I would say thats very good, but depending on benefits and how often this individual utilizes health insurance, it could be somewhat of a quandry...
