I think you have given way too much info to identify yourself. You shouldn't do that on a public forum such as this. You do understand the whole world can read this, I hope!

We know where she works, by name. That she has kids. The location of her employment as far as on what military base, we know the OP is female and that she was married to someone in the military...oh and she works in the deli department.

We could all call and complain about the customer service she gave us without ever going to the store. And the complaint would be credible, all from this thread.

Just didn't mention it to her as I am "ignorant"

Not judging. Merely letting you know that you are incorrect from a legal standpoint. Have been treated fairly, and that your company had every right to cut your hours when you changed your availability. Abd that they are under no obligation to give you special treatment due to your situation, no matter what it is...well, I guess if it is a disability, but as that is not the case...

Seems to me the only one doing the name calling on here is you.....

I find I quite like it here and feel that I have knowledge to contribute.

Oh, and the definition of helping is to aid someone with a solution or in knowing the facts. I helped, you just wanted a different answer.

As for ignorant...ignorant, by definition in the Merriam Webster dictionary, is destitute of knowledge or education. I am more than correct in my statements, I possess a wealth of knowledge and education on this topic. Ignorant, however, does not mean TELLING YOU SOMETHING YOU DO NOT WANT TO HEAR. I believe I am not saying what you want, therefore I am called ignorant. Nope. Keep trying.

Maybe they are trying to fire you. If you have the "I am entitled because I have children" attitude at work that you have here, maybe your change of availability was a convenient excuse to give the hours you would have been given to the new people they hired.

They have already hired those who could replace you.........

Wow....what kind of HR department do you work in HELL? UGGGG I'm glad you don't work in my company although I'm pretty sure you wouldn't last long with that nasty additude you are bringing around

Actually, HR in the real world. Where fair is treating all employees the same and having the same expectations for all of them, with the same perks or additional hours available to all and the same expectations regarding when a person works. And, as I have told OP and will tell you, it is only a "nasty attitude" because you don't like what I am saying. If I was on your side, and expecting the company to treat you (or OP) the same as other employees and telling you how to fight for that instead of saying the company is acting fairly, you would think I was great. Again, being good or bad, and having a bad attitude as you put it shouldn't be dependant upon whether or not I agree with you...but in these forums, and for you, it is.

I disagree with OP, therefore that makes me evil. Ah, I will gladly be evil and right.

As for trying to get rid of her...she is the one wondering if they are trying to get rid of her, and OP is the one who put it out there to begin with...merely stating after the posts from OP, and seeing her attitude, that she may have something there. She may call and they have decided to go a different direction. Companies do that when an employee is too much of a pain to keep. Oh...there I go again. Nasty. And right.
