The OP does not understand 3 things.

1. How it really is in the American workforce now, And likely to be for a long time.

2. How easy it is to fall down. One must be able to take it if he/she can dish it out.

3. Lazy is presenting a thread with the amount of hours per day, offering no good information.

Yeah, of course.... because millions of people who previously worked hard every day all of a sudden decided to quit working and depend upon short-term UE benefits that pay at most half their previous pay... Yep, because we'd all like to earn a lot less money while wasting time applying to non-existent "jobs" all day, only to be told that we are somehow now "unemployable" when we've worked for years in the industry.

Yes, yes... it's clearly the fault of the unemployed who are chosing to die in poverty. Right... that makes sense. If only we could all become Wal-mart workers or donut servers, the nation's problems would be solved! Hahaha... wow... You really don't get it - Wal-mart isn't going to hire an engineer or somebody with similar qualifications! Hell, I applied a few months back for a lab tech position making less than half my previous salary, and I mostly got dumb looks from the "job creators" who couldn't understand why I'd even apply! Why? Because they aren't any friggin jobs, and I'd rather be working than not working! In the end, I aced their tests, and they still couldn't understand why I was there because I was "overqualfied!" Hahaha... how the heck do you think Wal-mart would react in a similar situation? Geez...

Don't you have a bridge to live under?
I want to rep you, but I can't. So I'll do it here.

Holla, apparently you didn't feel compelled to answer my question on your other thread, so maybe you'll do so here.

Why do you care? Honest question. I'd like to know why you feel the need to castigate people when you don't know the details of their lives and what they've been through.

You say they seem lazy. I say you seem snotty. Maybe you can enlighten everyone with a different perspective.

Ahhh...the long term unemployed. A group that knows how to play the system almost as good as Lakwanda knows how to play the welfare system.

Unless you were making $500K a year, I can't side with you people.

And now the racism comes out.

Again, how about you nut up and answer my question?

FTR, I work for myself by design and am not looking to work for someone else. I make more money my way--probably more than you.

Hahaha... What?

So, it's okay for extremely wealthy people to leech off the system? Or, are you saying there aren't enough jobs that pay $500,000 year?

Wow, you're a funny troll!

So Holla-whats' YOUR deal? Why so much rage and hate for people you don't even know? What gives you the right to pass such nasty judgement on others? Tell us your motivation for that. Why do you care so much about what you falsely believe others are doing? How exactly are you offering "advice" or helping the unemployed?

Agreed. This intelligent thread has-or had nothing to do with welfare at all even. The original OP brings nothing to the table. There are a lot of these the past few weeks esp. Thankfully most members start, or contribute useful information or balanced opinions for discussion. This is not one of them.
