Just because she advertised on Craigslist, had a disposable cell phone, arrived by appointment at his apartment at 11PM wearing open-toed stilettos, a schoolgirl's uniform, granny glasses and spent precisely one hour there before leaving with money in hand of COURSE doesn't make her an escort. Just a regular girl. Oh wait, though, she paid HIM or he paid HER? Now that makes all the difference in the world. This is definitely something which needs to be further investigated but best continued on TVSG's special dating thread.
Its still escort. Shes spending money on you in exchange for your company and whatever else.
Please, no details.
I talked her INTO IT, do you understand? She had no intentions on receiving money from a guy but when I told her I just wanted conversation and laughter she felt that it was ok and didn't mind. She wasn't advertising herself she responded to my ad which was a basic friendship ad

I'll talk to you about it in a relationship thread.
My last job paid for my transportation to the job because I had to visit employers where my clients were working. So I never had to factor transportation into my budget this time last year
Smart! You are able to commute to work cheaply because you are smart enough to live near your work. The rest of us shouldn't be so annoyed that this guy realizes that living near work isn't such a bad idea

Does this mean I must move every time I'm laid off or find something different?

That is ideal but it isn't always practical for people to just pick up and move each time they start a new job, especially if the last job laid them off.
