I've lived in WI for 15 years and overall it's been a good stay. However, I'm definitely ready to live someplace else, preferably one that is much warmer.

I'm a little homesick for WI, honestly. I moved to SC last April. I love SC to bits, but I still miss lots of people and places in WI.
It's going to make me sound like a total dweeb, but man oh man, I miss having Indian food in Appleton. There are a few Indian places down here, but they don't compare to my favorite, Sai Ram, in Appleton. Is that weird to be homesick for a restaurant? Yeah, probably. I know. I can't help it. :-)

I have to say that I sure did NOT miss the winter in WI, though. It sounds like it was brutal this year. You can only stay in the house for so long before you turn into a cabin-fevered psycho. Or at least, that's the truth for me!

Honestly after this winter I don't know how anyone would ever want to live here but come summer I don't know why anyone would want to live anywhere else!

I'm finally returning to Clark County Wisconsin this June after 28 years away in the military. Been gone way to long. Can't wait to move back to the simple life in the country where I grew up and live happily ever after!

One thing I do like about WI is that there is truly someplace here for everyone. I wouldn't ever want to live way up in the middle of nowhere Clark County, but if it's the place for you, then enjoy it! Yay, WI!

I'm happy in Wisconsin. I grew up in a different Midwest state, spent 18 long years in extreme southern Texas, and have considered Wisconsin my home for the past 15 years. It's not perfect, but then no place is. I find enough to enjoy here that for me, the positives make up for the drawbacks.

I love Wisconsin. There's so much to do even though its in the middle of North America. I'm in love with Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. Where else do you get two of the largest freshwater lakes in the world? Michigan is the only other place. I also like the hills of southwestern Wisconsin and the overall landscape. We have many cool natural features. I also like the urban feel of Milwaukee and Madison. That's the reason i used to live in Milwaukee, but i'm around Seattle now, for college but i'm soon moving back this summer. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else except for maybe upstate New York or Pittsburgh.

Lived in Wisconsin for 36 our of 40 years. I am started to get the itch to go somewhere else. I have 15 years left hear, so I can retire at my current job. After that I'm moving south. I do like it up here, but every winter I ask myself why I'm still here.

Absolutely hate it. I got out and made it to Albuquerque, New Mexico, which was one of the few times I did something for myself and it was amazing. I only lived there for a year before moving back to be with the woman I love (now engaged to), so I don't regret it, but god I would leave right now if I could. I telecommute for my job, so I could literally do it too.
