Glad to hear it finally worked out for you. So when is the big move coming--this summer once the kids finish school?

after a looong drive (almost 11 hours this time) it felt like coming home already !

Welcome to town. You must have brought the rain with you. It's supposed to get a little more rainy today, but it should taper off tomorrow . . . I hope.

I guess I have no excuse to delay the wall paper removal I've been putting off. The rain is keeping me out of the yard.

C-ya around.

One thing for sure with all the rain predicted tonight you'll find out if the roof leaks or the basement floods. Enjoy getting to know the new house and the neighborhood and welcome to town

Uh oh! Watch out! Are you saying it's going to be a trial by water?

Hey Queen, you do know they used to do that up in the Northeast. When a person was put on trial, they dunked them in water. If they sank and drown, they were innocent. If they floated and lived, they were guilty.

Did you bring your waterwings?

*blubb blubb*

but speaking of water .... our small, quiet creek bordering the lot turned into a rapid miniature river due all the rain, wow ! real noisy - but I LOVE it !!

hoping for better weather some time today or tomorrow, before we leave. we had NO chance so far to examine the lot, the trees and bushes we have. met already (again !) so many nice, helpful, humorous people - kind of hard to go back to delaware now and leave 'our new life' again until july.

but lot's of packing waiting for me ! yeah .

now heading for breakfast to tupelo honey cafe, just 5 minutes from here ! really like it there ! have a good sunday everybody !

Sure that even this sudden SNOWshower can't dampen your spirits! Enjoy Tupelo, one of my favorite places, too
