Check out some of the real estate sites and search within those sites for lake worth. Example www.realtor.com (broken link)

Lake Worth has some very nice and upscale areas. There are some not so nice. Housing can be pretty pricey - it depends on your budget.

BTW Lisalee I know this is your first time posting - if you can change the subject of your post from LisaLee to something like "Seeking information about Lake Worth" or "Looking for housing info in Lake Worth" you will get a lot of responses.

Enjoy your experience on this forum - there is a lot of great info here and people, too.

Most of the nicer homes that I have seen have been in planned communities. Don't know if you are looking for that.

Lake Worth can be a hit and miss. It has some nice areas and then some not very desirable areas. There are tons of houses available right now in all price range and sizes. Please feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions or need more info on housing and I try to help.

I have genuinely felt in danger in parts of Lake Worth east of Millitary Trail...

LisaLee, make sure you see the utility bills before you sign a contract! Lake Worth Utilities is known for high rates. Is there a reason for Lake Worth, do you have family there? What are you looking for? Acreage, condo, townhome, to rent to buy? the more info, the better the feedback!

Lake Worth west of Jog out to SR7/441 is safer, but I would avoid some areas east.
