We're most likely relocating to South Florida this fall. My husband is a physician and is looking to join the Cleveland Clinic office in CityPlace. We're thinking of sending our daughter to Palm Beach Day Academy.

Would it be crazy to live in Jupiter and drive to WPB/PB every day?

We're pretty familiar with PBC as I grew up in Coral Springs & my husband grew up in WPB but haven't lived there in 18 years so have no idea what traffic is like.

Any other suggestions for nice, low-key family-oriented places to live (don't want to commute from out west)? Thank you!

Not at all, I live in Abacoa and it takes 25-30 minutes to get to Cityplace.
Abacoa/Jupiter sounds like a great fit if you don't want to be West.

Thanks for your input. I appreciate it. One more question--sorry--which has more of a neighborhood feel, Jupiter or the El Cid area? By Jupiter, I mean any of the developments (don't know it well--obviously!)

Not far at all! It's a straight shot down US 1. Around 30-35 minutes. Personally I think El Cid has more of a "neighborhood" feel than Jupiter. But I LOVE Jupiter!!!!!

El Cid and the rest of historic West Palm is an organically developed neighborhood(s), walkable to a real downtown, etc. Most everything in Jupiter is planned community.

The Abacoa area of Jupiter is a good balance... it is very neighborhood-y, without gates, etc. Small town center has some restaurants and shops.
