I'm with Owen on this one. Sitting back and relaxing is the best way to spend a holiday. Not having to do anything at all if you so choose is what makes free time so valuable.

Sorry for the double post but I can't edit the previous one anymore: I HATE HEAT!!!

Winter is pretty dull here but at least it's comfortable indoors: just open the window for instant coolness. Now another heatwave has struck and I'm just sitting here, sweating, uninterested in anything because every moment is suffering and there is no possibility of relief. First-world problems, I know, but I wouldn't complain if I lived in a hot climate. This isn't normal here and it should be happening so often, damnit. My summer vacation just started and a good chunk of it will be spent sitting in front of a fan, waiting for autumn. I've got a slight cold from excessive AC use in the car - the only brief relief - so swimming isn't an option.

Looking at the Barrow webcam isn't helping either.

Hahahaha, your last sentence is fantastic! I'm sure though that the irony is completely lost on you!

So going on holiday and sitting on Internet forums is sitting back and relaxing?! If you choose to do that then fair enough, I just think it's pretty strange that someone would do that.

He complains that he never goes anywhere, and when he does he's back on here complaining about it! Ungrateful, spoilt children really annoy me.

Do what most people do when they go on holiday.. explore the local area, or just lounge by the pool. I dunno. Surely you have more in your life than the internet?

5 hrs is an incredibly long time... Ever been camping? I have and I was outside for 2 1/2 weeks. Or does the idea of being outside for 3 hours seem foreign to you?

Fair enough, I don't know how you survived.

Without a camelbak survival would be impossible for that crazy amount of time.
