Had to call in sick today. I'm not sick, only terribly hung over. Now I feel really bad about it. The forecast says 30C later today, and I can't even go out and enjoy it.

Drove to Sheffield yesterday and got a parking fine for having a wheel slightly over the markings of the parking bay apparently. And then had a road rage with some fool on the way home.

Hoping this long weekend (Queen's Birthday) forecast doesn't occur:
Brisbane Forecast

Note the shower activity perfectly emcompassing the three day break (Sat, Sun and Mon). Generally when BOM forecast "a few showers" that is one gradient away from rain.

Our Australia Day long weekend was ruined by heavy rain and floods, plus Easter was a washout. Luckily ANZAC Day, our other holiday this year was excellent.

Could be the sort of long weekend to get stuff done around the house (renovations etc).

The trouble is our long weekends are skewed towards the 1st half of the year when rain periods are more likely to occur.
