Hang on a sec.... first you hated your dad for never wanting to leave the house, now you hate him for booking a holiday?

Heck, if you wanna just sit outside in warm weather, tell your dad not to bother with Spain, just come on down to Atlanta - it's never, ever cool here in the summer months. You can sit out on the front porch for a spell, sipping an ice-cold lemonade.

I just can't fathon going on holiday in summer to seek warmer or hotter weather - boggles my mind. When I go someplace in summer, I wanna go where it's cooler, either by way of altitude (last summer) or latitude (this summer).

Murcia is closer, and warmer in every month except May.

^^ plus, Murcia is probably culturally more interesting than Atlanta.. but I get the impression Owen is not interested in exploring the local area.

Dunno much about Murcia, it looks interesting architecturally and for historic sites. And probably a more interesting city in general to explore/walk around. Culturally, probably has less events/arts considering the city is much smaller than Atlanta. Don't know much about the culture of Altanta either, it's the biggest city of the south (unless Texas, South Florida or DC count as the South). African-Americans seem to really like the city, and it's become a bit of a hub of blacks culturally, I think.
