Im sorry bu treading around this eastely has only been good for east england and even there theyve only got 5cm. No offence like but that aint much to report about.

Yes we know about 600m but think about it, who exactly lives up there? Nobody.
Well when you're old enough to drive try some if the roads in North and East Yorkshire, that's why it's in the news. Nobody has said it's record breaking have they?! Snow always causes chaos on our roads, always has and always will, well at least until its mandatory to wear winter tyres.

as soon as snow melts, another batch comes a few days later. No snow-free bike path this January.

Missing the 54°F weather already.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm sick to the back teeth of winter. In the UK, that is. Our climate sucks arse.

That's what I call a phoney-baloney winter, which is a winter that only half-way does it and sort of pretends to be a winter (with the bare trees and all) but almost always falls short of actually being a winter.

By the way, today marks the halfway point of meteorological winter. For those who want to reflect on the first half and are very dissatisfied, this is the thread for you.

We had 5cm and it's mostly gone now. Other places have seen up to 6 inches. Nothing worse than you getting little and everyone else getting pasted.

Like they had a warning for Wednesday?

Northern Ireland looks tropical this week compared with the rest of the UK, 7c by day and 3c at night - not even cold enough for frost, lol.

Totally different here in Buxton... still lots of snow... and bloody cold and icy. I'm sick of winter too, for different reasons. Too cold, too much ice. At least the roads are more driveable now. But walking into town is a nightmare.
