I do feel bad for all the hassle it caused. We tried booking it and got to the credit card page then it took us to a payment and it said that it had to be in pounds so we had to fix it then the second time it did work but the internet disconnected but thankfully we did it slowly and it worked the third time.

Our flight doesn't leave to the afternoon so not too bad normal waking up time.
That is in writing, so what is the forefit if you make just a single post while you are there??

Whatever. Probably a couple of times.

Spoke to my dad and hes fine. The villas in america are super cheap, like we looked and we got a villa on there for 5 weeks for the same price as it would be one 1 week in Europe.

Europe is so expensive!

Well America is quite expensive to get to so we will have to lower our standards a bit.

If Europe is so expensive, then you're not looking in the right places. Don't stick to British hotspots and you won't pay the British sucker tax

Actually, it's much easier dealing with the mundane for a year in your place of residence than on vacation for 4 weeks, unless you're the adventurous type. Unlike on vacation, you have to do things where you live and that keeps you occupied. On vacation, the usual tourist traps can only hold over for so long before you start going stir crazy.

I am not in the mood for a row but clearly you think you know it all.

When really you don't, there is not a British tax to go to Spain etc. It is just expensive because in Europe they charge more money. Simple as.

I am sure it will. But thats how it is.

We are not going to Palm beach again and Orlando looks a little bit less presitgious LOL! I don't like the idea of being near loads of British tourists and I don't like the idea of being so far inland.

I'm not picking a fight.

You didn't get my idiom. British tax means Brits always go to places where they get gouged on prices because most are not travel savvy and choose to stay in places where Brits frequent, hence the increase in prices as opposed to staying in a predominantly Spanish area
