Among the ballot papers hat ended in the trashcan (European elections):

- Feminists for a united Europe
- Citizens of the blank ballot
- No to Brussels, yes to France
- Say yes to life
- Esperanto, a common language for Europe
- Say no to finance
- Let's exit the EU

The True Finns seem to get another place, but so far they have got 6.4% less of the votes than in the parliamentary election in 2011.

UKIP got 16.7% of all votes in Leeds, but thankfully gained zero seats on the council.

Greens gained one extra seat, and increased their voting share to 9.1%.

Also, a new party appeared on the ballot in one ward, called 'Brit Dems stop immigration leave EU' and got 0.2% of the vote.

UKIP have done well nationally, but only in crap towns with far-right voters and isolated shire counties that feel abandoned by the main parties because they are rural and nobody cares about them. They gained 3 seats in Sheffield, one in Bradford and Bristol, but zero in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Nottingham and only gained seats in one London borough. A clear divide between metropolitan areas and the crap towns.

Oops, seems I remembered wrong - they got seats in four London boroughs - Havering, Bromley, Bexley and Harrow. Still a small number though, and they got like 7% of the total vote compared to over 20% nationally.

Most London boroughs are Labour as well - 20 out of 32.
