I am gonna enter in May. NI people have a reasonable chance of winning it as very few enter and lots win. I think something like 55 won and only 2500 entered so I am gonna give it ago. Idk what i am going to do if I win! Maybe try uni there??
im gonna enter for 3rd time in may too... if i win it them in quitting uni in england and bon voyage lol
then i would live in xx state for a year to get state residency )to be eligible for in state tuition) and go to uni there... or if i got lucky and found a nice job then just work and live lol
I am just going to enter for the crack of it to see what happens, I do not expect to win. If I do win I do not know what I am going to do because I am not rich, I cannot just move there and buy a house. You must show that you have loads of funds which I do not have. I think the only way to get in safely is a job.
But really I don't know what I am going to do. I am not poor so Iam not desperate to get into america and my quality of life is probably just as good. I do not want to put myself in debt and danger.
The american government are not stupid. They will not let you in unless you can prove that you will pay taxes and contribute to the country. I can see why as I would not want that in my own country.
Like I say I am not going to put myself in danger.
im just saying that because i do know people who won and they had $2000 per person and they said its no problem. the most important thing for them is the education requirement
12 years of education or US high school diploma eqivalent...
Florida has been my dream since childchood... California is probably 2nd favourite. Stupid damn visas and immigration restrictions they ar the only barrier keeping me here... i hope i will be able to move after university tho there are more options for people with higher education
Unless you're studying a sought after scientific degree, good luck. Even Canadians have a very hard time moving here without an American spouse. Most of the Poles that live in the US came at or before the 1980s. Most Canadians that live in the US are retired snowbirds living here part time. I've seen a steady stream of Ontario and Québec license plates make their way up north on my highway from April to June
