Happy it's forecast to reach 70°F in the afternoon — and almost every day this week.

Two weeks from today will be my last day of the semester, then only one semester left until I graduate.

According to my ICT teacher we should be finished our revision. Well I only started last Month and i'm only a quarter the way through. I'd be doubtful if anybody is even anywhere near finished.

For once, I'm not dreading the coming of May. The way things are going, we're on track to have the coolest spring in 8 years.

About damn time, too. We were getting snow flurries as late as the 27th of March, along with heavy frost, and while we've had a few days with highs in the 80's, most of this past month have featured highs in the 70's, and even some days in the 60's (!) And on an even happier note, the forecast models indicate below average temps for at least two more weeks, with some indications that it could go on even longer than that. I'm not usually one to be "gay in May," but as long as those wonderful *cool* east winds keep blowing, and the rains keep coming, I'm as happy as a kid at Christmas.

If only every spring down here could be as nice as this one - I might not ever move...lol. Well, when summer inevitably hits, I'll be changing my tune, but while we've still got the cool and wet, I'll not be complaining.

Don't forget here in May our temperatures are similar to your January averages.... 40-50°F temperatures.. and cloudier. So this seems very nice compared to our winter... I bet you $1,000,000 you won't get a single day in your May as cold as any of the ones in our May.

I'm happy that there's a big May snowstorm in the central U.S. I've been waiting for years to see a 1900's-style late season snow event unfold in that region. I'm also happy that Mother Nature has once again given the finger to the "warm ground/high sun angle/it won't snow" crowd .
