Lake Erie now at 74F, vs a normal of 67F and previous record (for June 21) of 71F in 1998... Typically Lake Erie only reaches those kinds of temperatures in mid July.

The other lakes, except for Lake Superior, are above average, but not as extreme.

Should continue warming for a couple more days before levelling off.

Rain approaching southern Indiana this afternoon after a horrible month of extremely dry weather, less than 0.60'' for the month of June so far.

Not a drop here in over a week and i see none for weeks since we are in a west flow and will be for any lifetimes as the west coast gets no rain vs inland and east coast.

Yeah, really disgusting this morning. The silver lining being that we may top out at just under 90f. It's considered a win these days.

This is why i keep banging it into heads we are in a west flow 9 out of 10 days in the summer and the normal east flow has been gone for years.

Another gloomy day... will we even cross the 1500 sunshine hours mark for this year?

Past 8 days
2 overcast
4 mostly cloudy
1 sun & clouds
1 mostly clear
0 clear

June currently stands at just under 40% of possible sunshine.
