Lake Erie is already a bit warmer than normal at 66F (vs 64F normal) but by the end of this heat wave, maybe I'll head down there to cool off, it should be in the nice swimmable 70F+ range by then, if not 75F+ with everywhere around it going full on torch.
Lake Erie now at 74F, vs a normal of 67F and previous record (for June 21) of 71F in 1998... Typically Lake Erie only reaches those kinds of temperatures in mid July. https://apps.glerl.noaa.gov/coastwat...lsea_avg_e.pdf
The other lakes, except for Lake Superior, are above average, but not as extreme.
Should continue warming for a couple more days before levelling off.
Not a drop here in over a week and i see none for weeks since we are in a west flow and will be for any lifetimes as the west coast gets no rain vs inland and east coast.
My 80f dew and 82f for a low today would make that state roll over.
I thought florida was getting a break from the extreme humidity. Crazy if true.
