Sun came out for a little while today but it was generally cloudy. Reached a high of 57 F/14 C.
NWS issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the possibility of heavy rain and flash flooding Thursday and Friday. First flakes of the season may fly Friday as well.
High was just 39F here 38F at ORD and 37F at MDW and we had snow showers again today. Even some accumulation on my truck windshield. Our monthly mean is now down to +0.3F at ORD not including today's temps which were 13 degrees below normal.

I will have to avg the figs, but it looks like this OCT will win as the hottest ever for my area or really most all of FL.
The 70s were for Cedar Key, not Tampa. Tampa was at low 80s for Friday, which they still are
