Is summer over yet?

My ppwer is out. Got hit bad. 80mph wind. Everythjng was bending and breaking. Heard trees coming down from distance I knew I was next.

Visibility went to nothing and the rain just whipped sideways. Trees were bending hard.

72mph at the lighthouse. Probably was 80+ here. Is summer over yet?

Good that your home wasn't damaged. That storm must have been intense

We had 70-80 mph winds here as well Cambium. Lots of powerlines and trees down not far from me. I still have power though

Now you know how a lot of people feel in the winter, just sit by the heater/fireplace.

I was out yesterday, it was a great day, hit 97F, I was at the local nude beach Hippie Hollow, had a blast. Then I ate outside, was around 92F and I thoroughly enjoyed it, they did have misters going to help cool the patio off.

Later that night I was with friends at a large table and we all drank under the stars and it cooled from the 80's to the 70's with a nice breeze. It was actually cool this morning in the mid 60's with rain but I slept in until midnight, had a long night lol.

I surely hope swim season doesn't take an abrupt turn for the worse this year. Last year it was effectively over by mid October because of a crappy rainy and cold weather pattern. Here's hoping for warm weather at least until November...

Using the 3 days of 55°F+ mean dewpoints method, our average first day is July 6th, it's looking as though it will start at least a few days later than average this year, Pacific NW troughing has kept the monsoon high down in Mexico longer than typical
