I see models continued the northward march overnight. SC is out of the picture and 1 more shift and raleigh is too as we seem to be the cutoff as usual.

It looks like I’m in the 12 inch+ range in every recent model run that I’ve seen. Regardless of whether it shifts north or south, I think it is a safe bet that I will at least get a few inches of snow.

I can’t wait to hear what Bernie Rayno has to say about this storm! I always love his videos.

Yup I'm sure we'll bust as usual. That's ok, not ready for a walloping snow storm right now. Two weeks later? Bring it!

GFS and FV3-GFS continue to trend further north. Meanwhile the Euro and UKIE both slightly south and very suppressed.

Good. Move it 250 miles north and me and cambium would both get a monster storm lol

Wish I was home. Just saw Euro gave Raleigh over 1.25" qpf. 5000' temp goes above normal for it so no snow. Havent checked DC.

And yeah, would of been better if it was January

Most of the models have a foot or more snow for Asheville but I have seen at least one calling for a Wintery mix. Should be a doozy whatever we get.

I think you guys are in a sweet spot with this one! We will be curious what happens there. Keep us posted. Could be a "doozy" for sure. Especially with moisture coming from the Pacific, usually those storms always have extra juice. but as always little changes make a big difference..
