Today and tomorrow, we are supposed to get the first significant rain since April. Seattle has received 3.19" of rain since May 1st. Grass is still brown and it's late October. Can't remember another year that was that dry. Feels pretty muggy outside even though it's only 54F.

Last 7 days. Nice to see the well below normal blues again for an entire week.

Pittsburgh: 42.8° coldest for the period since 1992
NYC Avg Temp was 49.8°. Coldest for the period since 2008.
Boston: 47.7°
Providence: 44.8°
Hartford 44.5°
Caribou: 35.1°

Hottest Oct ever for my area. Already had a record hot Sept and that was the hottest month ever. Nov will also be record heat.
