Epic! Crazy. That ridge looks like it would prevent a stronger PV from forming next month or so. That means weaker and split off. Colder for mid latitudes somewhere. Which could be good for us.

But we really need something big to change or shift things around now for Fall to get here
Not just a weakened polar vortex, it looks like the vortex might be completely replaced by this ridge.

I wonder if or when that colder air over western North America will begin to filter east?

Looks like maybe by the 3rd week of October for us?

Then move to Alaska if you’re so sick of the weather where you are.

Already considered it after being there last month. Fall will come, it's just taking too damn long

Wow at the 10 day anomalies! Wow.

Focus on my circled area.

1. Tomorrow midday

2.

Friday morning.

3. Three Snowfall days for that area next 6 days.

This one will depend on storm track who gets the blizzard and big totals.

Monday night.

4. Stays south of circled areas. 4 separate snow events! The 3rd looks like a biggy for someone.

At least the west is getting their fair share of cooler weather. Las Vegas and Phoenix are cooler than the south even.
