Cool. I heard even without precip the inner tube and funnel are susceptible to cracking since its a thinner plastic. But maybe it doesn't stay below freezing enough for you so guess its ok. I never tested it. Hate to buy another one so I just don't risk it.

Thinning out but still some snow left. 2 days in a row. Current Temp 44°F

Let the Piles Begin. lol

series of wet systems through the middle to end of next week.

&&

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure ridge over the region is continuing pattern of
light winds, smoke with poor visibility and air quality for much
of the area. The smoke is keeping temperatures below normal
blocking heating from the sun during the day and allowing heat to
escape at night, unlike cloud cover. This brought a cold start in
the Valley, with lows down as lows as the upper 20s and lower
30s. This is about 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.

Highs this afternoon will be a little below normal in smoke
covered areas, near to a little above normal in the mountains
above the smoke. Evacuees from the Camp Fire should prepare for
another cold night and morning. Saturday during the day should be
about the same as today.
Can confirm
Mornings feel colder than usual and it cools off quicker at night. Been using more heat than usual this time of year. Can't wait for the rain to flush this crap out of our Sky.

More November snow to fall. It's common to snow in November but obviously not this many times or this much. lol

Would be 5 days this month with snowflakes falling

Mostly north of the coast this time. Light stuff.

Weak front tonight then a weak coastal low tomorrow night.

Very cold November thus far and the models show that other than a couple days of normal to slightly above normal temps here, it will get even colder beyond Thanksgiving

Some Chicago weather history. Five years ago on this day, it was in the 70s and we had multiple tornado touchdowns including an EF4

https://twitter.com/NWSChicago/statu...40090572750848

Back in 1959 we had 6 inches of snow with low temps around zero.
