Great.and wtf! Are those -20 C isotherms over Indiana? Wow, and occurring in only mid November too. I really hate being right. I know now that the winter of 2018-2019 will most likely be among the coldest(and driest) winter on modern record in my neck of the woods.
You Floridians are so stuck up. 95 percent of the lower 48 states isn’t even your neck of the woods. Besides, Florida doesn’t even get a real winter anyway; so what exactly is the point of antagonizing me? Because Florida and much of the lower 48 states south of 37 degrees north latitude for that matter doesn’t even get a true “Winter” in the strictest sense of the wordno one south of a line of say Louisville Kentucky could likely even live through a real winter that us yanks have to contend with every single winter.

No moisture or storms near so would be a dry cold not snowy cold. But still 10 days away. Probably wont be this cold.
On a side note, Fairbanks Alaska experienced their first subzero reading of the season this morning, with a low of 2 below. I wonder if that subzero temperature was among the latest first subzero temperature readings on modern record for them; it seems like Fairbanks and much of Alaska for that matter has been basking in an exceptionally balmy fall thus far(balmy by Alaska standards of course), could the exceptional warmth in Alaska be the reason behind the unusually chilly weather in the lower 48 states?

You keep throwing out forecast to everyone and don't even have a clue what you are talking about. You keep saying ice age is coming for the northeast and anyone with a half a brain jane knows a ice age takes 100's to 1000's of years. You called that i would get unreal rains this summer and the fact is it was one of the driest i had in years. The 80's had real winters. This is what i base my world numbers on. The new norm is a rapid ramp up in warming for places in the south and will soon follow for you guys to the north. I don't know what stuck up has to do with hotter and drier weather. I can only go by facts and what i have seen since i startd keeping records in 1978.
Anyone here can look up the Tampa FL area and see the crazy amount of heat records that have been broken in just the last 7 years. This year alone has been the hottest ever and as the years go by more and more records will get broken The ridge that is always stuck southeast of US will be the new norm year round due to rapid ice melt and cooler and displaced sea currents. I call year after year of sub 25 degree temps a real winter likw we had in 81, 82, 83, 84, 85. After 1986 with a low of 28 and 1989 with a low of 25f it was like a light switch was thrown and it was super warm minus 95-96 and 2010.
Holy ****! -30 anomalies deep into the Gulf of Mexico... over ****ing water in November. Those are 70 something degree waters too. Kinda exciting too look at actually. A guilty pleasure of sorts.
