This past summer, my hometown had a 20 degree temperature change in under 10 minutes. It was around 90°F and a thunderstorm rolled in and dropped the temperature very quickly. It was very cool to witness. It hailed and rained about 2-3 inches in just that one storm I believe.

On left is the projected temps Tuesday 4amEST as the strong cold front is coming Eastbound. Note the temps in Indiana, Kentucky, TN, Arkansas in the 40s and 50s...
Right image are the projected temps at 4pm Tuesday. Looks like all those areas are going to have a max temp come early in the morning and the daytime will see dropping temps into the 30s & 40s

Many areas go from 50s to 20s within 24hrs
I remember this day so well. Started out in the 50s early in the morning then sudden drop into the 30s. Went from heavy rain to heavy snow. Awesome!
Allentown: 57° to 23°
Binghamton: 44° to 18°
Washington DC: 55° to 26°
Atlantic City: 59° to 32°
and still dropping in those areas
