The cold
air will be lagging behind the wave and precipitation will be rain.
Colder air does begin to move into the northwest as the
precipitation is ending and there may be some wet snow mixed with
the rain across the higher terrain of Orange county. Precipitation
amounts will be minimal with this shortwave as the flow is mostly
zonal, with little to no Gulf of Mexico or Atlantic moisture
advecting into the system
dry and sunny here. Cold, 22°F. Nice orange glow at sunrise, lit up my bedroom. Hadn't noticed sunrise light before, maybe the sun angle change enough to get direct sun at sunrise? Window faces northeast.
