2 weeks is fast? Maybe, but when you got 60s and 70s all of October and into November then staying under 52 mostly for past 2 weeks and dropping to 20s/30s at night... Trust me, 50s will feel warm. Maybe I acclimate faster than others?

In fact, thanks... good thread idea..

Hmm, 50s and rain happens in June here, Not sure about 53 though. June 27, 2015 had rain and 50s.

But even low 60s and rain is a cold rain as well in summer. 50s and rain in late fall and winter is warm. Just the way it is because normals are much lower than that in winter. I'm not saying jump in puddles warm, just the air will feel warm.

Yesterdays same temp with rain felt warmer than this June day.

I would love our summers to be like that. Can't even buy a day with clouds in winter in my area anymore it seems.

ah, maybe that's why I got more clouds than you; I got the tail end of lake effect clouds? Maybe the best of both worlds? Enough clouds to be pretty and add some interest without the full depressing overcast of lake effect clouds you get in upstate.

2:45-6:45pm loop. See that little dip? that's the Polar Jet. Lake Erie producing more than Ontario past few hours.

The polar upper level jet will be south of the region. In the
mid levels, a trough axis moves through the region bringing its
associated vorticity maxima with it. This upper level
disturbance will enhance lift and with the leftover moisture,
could result in a few snow showers with the continued cold air
advection. Snow showers are the precip type due to wet bulb
cooling. With limits in low level moisture and not much QPF from
numerical model guidance, left as slight chance
