Just boring sunshine day after day and no action. Thin band of rain about 45 miles to my north. By the time it gets to me it will thin out even more as dry air aloft kills it out. If i get over .15" i will be super lucky. One colder nite coming then a warm up. Just no upper level support with this flat upper level pattern.

Cool shot. Thanks. The cold front passed you but still hasn't here. Almost.

I agree with this.

Not to mention driving up the daily average departure bigly.

Check out where the center of the storm is right now (7amEST). Any system that takes a path to our west will always bring warm air into us. That's why I hate Lake Cutter storms and App runners.

Here's the radar loop from 3-7am. Backedge is almost here. Drier behind the cold front. Almost 1/2" of rain fell here

Nobody acclimates THAT much. That is still 19°F below the ideal outdoor temp of 72°F and is a water temperature cold enough for hypothermia with enough exposure

If you have a jacket on it isn't that bad. If it has been in the 30s for a while, and then hits 50F, it will feel warm. In the winter when we've had periods of highs in the teens and lows in the single digits or negatives, 30s feel warm. It's all relative.

Rain is about over and got under .05". Not enough to do a thing.
