Using NWS forecast high is a well below average 78... they essentially show what i said with a late day jump in temps. My new forecast : break 70 at 3 then clouds break at 6 and temps top out at 71-73.

In my entire life i was never really affected by SAD until today. It sucks...

Brr. My parents closed theirs. My forgot to close my apartment windows before leaving; I was already wearing a fleece inside yesterday before I left. Hopefully it'll warm so my place won't be cold.

64 and sunny with a 45 dew at noon. The high is supposed to be around 70 and it's supposed to stay sunny--looks like another nice day.

In the past 9 days, there has been just 1 day with rain and that was in the middle of the night that I never knew had fallen without looking at the data. Amazing stretch of dry, sunny weather

The low this morning was 43, the coolest of the season.

NYC forecast looks identical to much of the souths... only difference is they are average to above while we are well below average.

I dont understand how northeast winds equal colder temps than the north ... up north they get similiar conditions yet are warmer.

Forecast here keeps declining, originally would have been a seasonable high after a well below average low... but now down to forecast high of 84. My prediction... stuck in 60s till 12 then clouds break at 4 with a late day jump in temps for a high of 75. Another well below average day..
NYC's forecast looks below average, the average highs for that period are 79-80F, most days will be in the mid 70's after Wednesday. But you're right, the departure won't be as great as it will be for NC.

Newark set a record low this morning with 49F, LaGuardia tied their record low of 56F. You aren't alone.
