Amped up Upper height pattern means IF a Tropical system approaches it wont be blocked, it would ride up the Jet stream so we'll see where that "exactly" ends up.
If this new one next week decides to go into the Gulf, that's just sad. It would stall out with a Big Ridge in Western U.S. Same set up when Harvey hit last week. Timing is just incredible when you follow weather events.
Guess we should hope for a MS, AL, GA or FL hit instead of Texas if it does go into the Gulf.
Ral31, thanks for sharing the revised September forecast outlook, I would much rather have a cool wet September like what NOAA is showing for my location as opposed to cool and dry. But didn't NOAA predict a wet August for the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley, turned out to be ****ing cool and dry this August in Indianapolis, but alas, look how close those dry conditions are to central Indiana, far too early to tell which direction the weather will take for sure this September
