Hahaha, that is true. I'm just wondering how they make their forecasts as it looks like we're rapidly descending into a La Nina and usually the west is a lot cooler than shown in the map.
September looks about right. I'm expecting one last heatwave in the PNW and the overall warm pattern continuing for most of the month. I think - or perhaps, hope - that we will get a pattern flip in October with a more classic Nina pattern with a cool/wet PNW.
