I dedicate this photo to him. Frozen lake near Esquel:

Here, the min was 1ºC. Now 9ºC. It will not go much higher today.

And Cordoba Aerodrome joins Bariloche with a new record. A min of -8.3ºC there, breaking the old record by 0.1ºC. The fountains froze in that province:
That is just plain beautiful. This is the stuff I want to see in this thread, not endless pics of snow in alpine chalets.

Need to see more pics of snowfall in Santiago de Chile. Surprising lack of action on that front considering it is supposed to be a unique event. 33*S and there was apparently heavy snow fall, show us please!

We posted some here, but I will try to find more later..

Also, as I posted with the map, this morning was very cold in Southern Brazil, here is the 5 lowests temperatures :

-7,4°C - Morro da Igreja-SC(28S/1800m)
-6,8°C - Morro das Torres-SC(27S/1600m)
-6,7°C - Soledade-RS(28S/700m)
-6,1°C - Urubici-SC(28S/900m)
-5,8°C - Santa Rosa-RS(27S/300m)

Porto Alegre registered 0.8C in it western suburbs, tomorrow promisses to be even colder in the southern region overall, there are some chances of double negative digits and some records be broken.

Huge difference in Lima today. Very sunny here, but you look to the south and west and it looks cloudy and foggy

This is the native region of Jacarandas, they can hold temp down to -8 or even -10C I guess.

I think that low is a new record. Asuncion had -0.2ºC, close to their record (-1.2ºC).
