Next week. Wow. Below freezing at 5000' down to Philly and off the coast. Southwest looks like it could be on fire

I'm guessing that w as Timmins who topped out at 27.2°C +/- today, 16°C above average. So yes, bang on 30°F above average.

Even more impressive though is that their maximum yesterday was only 3.5°C. So about a 24°C or 43°F increase from one day to the next!

Here in Edmonton we've officially broken the 40°F barrier fir the first time in almost a week by reaching a temperature of 4.9°C at 5 pm.

The last time we exceeded 40°F was 9 pm on Friday, April 21. By my calculations that's 139 consecutive hours below 40°F. All the time with zero sun.

Lowest temperature during this time was a relatively balmy -2.7°C this morning, indicative of the constant cloud cover. We might clear out this evening: low at the airport forecast to drop down to -5°C.

I don't understand why anyone would want mid 90s this time of year, especially a climate that sees enough hot weather already. Too each their own I guess............................................. .

I feel really lucky to be living so close to the coast this time of year. 95F and still inland while it'll be around 83F and breezy here, still not good obviously but comparatively not terrible.
