I thought those were the departures. Lol. How far above normal were those sites that broke records?

Alicante reached the all time record for March in all of Europe with those 34.8ºC (94,64F) from today. Europe is not that prone to extreme temps and what happened today is incredible for continental Europe!

It equalled the record high for March for Europe, Larissa Airport in Greece also has a record high of 34.8C...
What exactly pushed you to it? The horrible climate? The sky high heating bills? The lack of jobs? The lack of anything to do? Almost a 10% tax on anything you buy?
Current temps.. I wish I was in ............. North Carolina right now.
At least I'm not in North Dakota. Single digits during the afternoon in March.
Big temp range.
Southern NM looks about perfect, southern AZ a bit too hot.
I was on the phone today with a guy from Whitehorse, he told me it was -38C without the wind chill.
I thought he might have been joking, probably not.
Plenty cold here today was about -1C early this morning, just keeps dropping,
currently -9C, cold weather warning for tonight, also for tomorrow night, kinda nippy for march.

Oh k, I edited the post. I used the data from the other airport, in San Javier is just 18.5ºC, 2.4ºC less than in Alcantarilla (20.9ºC).
And about Alicante I used the data from the city instead of the airport (0.4ºC of difference). You're right.
