As long as it's below normal for me, I'm happy . That being said, it's always fun to follow snowstorms!

This ....

SUCH A WASTE.

Absolutely PURE BEST track you can ask for to produce a widespread snowstorm, Gulf and off the NC coast to inside Benchmark zone.

Then you have a clipper (The Northern Jet Stream).

TIMING was just off. This was supposed to happen Sunday/Monday! The Northern Jet is not phasing with the Southern Branch.

This is a another good reminder of how timing is so crucial with our weather events.

What ashame.

Hey... models got another storm right 10+ days out but again... details details. More like Timing, Timing.

10 days ago the energy for these storms were near Japan and Canada, so models thought that would merge with the polar Jet stream and produce a snowstorm.

Only until that energy got closer to the West coast (where more data is fed into the models) did they realize that wasnt the case.
And so results for past 4 days has been no merge. Rain storm south of New England.

There's a 40% chance of a rain/snow mix for me on Sunday morning. Considering it's supposed to be around 40, it's hard for me to get too excited.
