Can you find the front?

Drizzling here this morning (ahead of the front). What else is new this month.

8 out of 12 days this month I've had precip falling. Grass is green as can be though just not growing without good warmth.

Speaking of that ... none tonight. Yet another night below freezing. Approaching record # of times now.

UPPER TROUGH AXIS PUSHES E OF THE AREA THIS EVE WITH QUASI-ZONAL
FLOW DEVELOPING ALOFT INTO WED. THE GROWING SEASON HAS NOW BEGUN
ACROSS THE ENTIRE FORECAST AREA AND THE COMBINATION OF CLEAR SKIES
AND LIGHT WINDS TONIGHT COULD PRODUCE WIDESPREAD FREEZING TEMPS
ACROSS INTERIOR PORTIONS OF THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY AND SOUTHERN
CT AS WELL AS WESTERN PASSAIC IN NEW JERSEY. HAVE ISSUED A FREEZE
WATCH FOR THESE AREAS ALTHOUGH THE ONE FLY IN THE OINTMENT IS IF
WINDS DON`T DECOUPLE AS MUCH AS EXPECTED AND THUS KEEP TEMPS JUST
SHORT OF REACHING THE FREEZING MARK. ALSO HAVE NOT INCLUDED FROST
IN THE GRIDS FOR THE SAME REASON.

I need to move to northern Maine. This is the type of scenery I prefer in Spring. Even though its raining there now.

Today's temp is already 1c above the forecast high, with another 2-3 hrs of warming possible. Gives hope that we may record our first 20c day of 2016 either tomorrow or Thursday, as they are both forecast to reach 18c.

8am Radar and temps. Cold front in PA with rains moving across ahead of it. Yellows indicate more steady moderate rains.

Strange that it's a cold front when the forecast has warmer weather afterward. But by afternoon highs, mean temperature will be colder. Last night was mild.

We have been running somewhat below average; if we get a warm dry spell things wild dry so today's rain is needed.

Not unusual for here, I think our spring budding will still be a bit early. Or maybe I'm confused on normal from the last two springs?

TBH I didn't expect that either along with the Freeze watch here too but as we know, things always flow. so I bet there's a warm front coming by Thursday.

Yeah, March was; but April is running normal for Hartford, above normal for the coast. Just annoying its like almost every day. I think we had full sun for like 1 day this month?

lol. Past 5 yrs really has us for a mind loop huh? I'd say its fair to say we are "closer" to normal now then we were in March?

Not unusual? Well.. if Hartford gets below 30°F tonight it will be the 7th time this month which would be 3rd most # of times for the period of April 1 to 13.. only 4 other years would have more.
