*The High for Ndjamena is probably not the final one.

Bermuda Low? Not complaining, our climate would be much better if this was a more common phenomenon.

Oh wait ... the blob is dead, I forgot. That's why it's been warm in the East since last year that really started to change in May.

Dead Blob

The blob all along the PNW coast is not dead. Just look at SST now and compare with 2012.

Oh look what's back:

So yeah the trough moved away from us for a while. What I want to know is when will a trough be over the PNW way more often than a ridge. It just keeps popping right back over them due to all that warm water along their coast.

The anomalies are nowhere near what they once were. Also, how has that impacted us within the last 7 or 8 months. We've had consistently above average temps since August here.

What about your well above average autumn? Your record warm December and your warm March? You're focusing on the negative too much.

That all happened with the warm blob in the North Pacific. Plus, El Nino winters tend to be back-loaded, so the fact that an early spring cold spell happened isn't THAT surprising. Similar to 2007. Though, 2007 had a frigid February.

Did you know there has been 12 straight above normal months in Philly? That's right. Since March 2015 and with some record and near record months within. Really not sure why the ignoring of the warm and snow.

Just saw this from NWS. Looks like 3-5" did accumulate outside the UHI of Philly

This is about 11 miles from center of Philly's UHI April 9th in Bryn Mawr.

^ Seattle had above average temperatures every single months between March 2014 and August 2015. That's 20 months, it's ridiculous! Here it's been a combination of warm and cold months, but in Seattle there's been nothing except warmth, and it gets really annoying. This pattern really needs to end. And in Binghamton the only months above average last year were May, September, November, and December. When is this going to happen in Seattle
