Now that daytime heating is waning, storms have collapsed with a remarkable drop in lightning and cloud top cooling. As a result, think the overall coverage and intensity of storms for the remainder of the evening will be isolated to scattered at best. Have tweaked POPs for the next few hours.
1.80" in my rain gauge overnight was hard to believe. I had to play the loop.. Sure enough...its true. Must of been some crazy torrential downpour again.
4.82" for the month so now getting well above normal.
