Not much on Eastern side of Lake Michigan

But on East side of Erie and Ontario get ready. Syracuse getting screwed.

NWS Buffalo has different thoughts then TWC. Where will that lucky heavy band setup is the Million Dollar Question.

Warnings are out!

The Baltic Sea can create lake-effect snow once in a while in the S and W coasts of Finland and E coast of Sweden, but they are much weaker than in the NA Great Lakes region. Not this winter though, as we haven't got any effect snow. Our rivers are too small to create river effect snow.

The tally for the whole year is like 14 inches currently, so getting 12" in one event sounds out of this world.

So as the Baltic is a mediterranean sea and not an ocean, I'll say Sea effect snow is my favourite.

Current 850mb temps. Here it comes...just matter of time now. The -10C line is about to move over the Lakes. Freezing line down to Jackson Mississippi which is nice to "finally" see the dig that far south.

But once that -10C line pushes across over the Lakes, machines will fully turn on. Should happen by 7pm tonight.
