Just because you're clueless Cuomo & your team couldn't handle it, stop blaming someone. Just like Mayor Bloomberg of NY saying Sandy wont be that bad.

NWS called this Lake Effect perfectly.

It frustrates me that the weather community goes on a limb to protect people and then you get people that say "we didn't know". Unacceptable. Wake up

This clearly shows the glaring neglect Albany has towards western NY. I can't conclude much else. Sadly, its all dirty NY politics Camby , not much we can do about that.

Was it known it would be as extreme as it turned out? I thought the first thought was 2 feet, and then the storm kept going

Nei!!! Please read it. See image, Its highlighted!

"Historic" Lake effect snows. Exceeding 3 feet. The warnings went out. The warnings itself said multiple feet and 3-5" per hr snow rates that wouldn't allow the roads to stay clear..

.. before it started even flurrying the warnings were all over the net, including TV Stations, NWS, Meteorlogists, ect. days before.. Was this guy in a hole?

There's a lot of things I can't stand but there's very few things that get to me. This is one of them. Same with many Tornado situations. Is 10 minutes not enough time to hide? There are warnings that go out!

Problem is people aren't in tune with weather and that's fine.. but don't go saying there was no warning or you didn't even know there was a storm coming. WTF. Does someone have to hand you a letter in front of you?

Then the other thing that pisses me off... If they do warn us and nothing happens... it's considered as hype and for nothing. Cant stand that! Just be quiet and appreciate the heads up!

Just a politician being a politician. They'll say anything. It doesn't matter if it's right or wrong.
