He obviously was doing something more important at the time.
He's thinking that someone should have brought this to his attention so that he could have had the chance to go on television and tell people that there was a clear and present danger that was going to impact there lifes.
Obviously he blew his chance to have big brother government protect us from danger.
I'm also guessing that nobody was paying attention to the Wooly Bear Caterpillers earlier this year.
