Just started drizzling here, rainband looks wide. Summer rainbands are usually narrower. Wow reached 60°F near Boston with the sun.

On that note...

Temp Departures across the US & Northeast each week for February 2016. Which was your favorite?

Week 2 was coolest for the East but you can kinda see the Ups and Downs with this. Above normal to below normal to normal to above normal.

Although this hides the true more impressive daily swings such as Feb 15 being below zero and up to 50s the next day. But fun to see what each week brought.

How each week of February last year looked in the Northeast

Spoiler

63 in Boston now. That's 4 days in the 60s this month. Ties record for February with 1990 & 1981.

Thats for the current location since 1936. If u use the previous location then its 2nd most. 1930 had 5 days in the 60s in February

Sun is poking out here. Yay. Done with the drizzles.

We've had 8 days in the 60s this month. Surprisingly that's not even close to the record. There were 16 days in 1976.

Most I've ever had here was 7 60F+ days in 1976 (with online records going back to 1974).
