I'm in Short sleeves outside and not because I can tolerate cold. It's 58°F here.


64 at Newark. LOL!! Colder in Memphis 27°. Atlanta 39°


Enjoy it! Look to the west. That's some cold air coming!

Is that a squall line in NJ coming? UGH!!!

It's coming.. Pittsburgh went from rain & 48°F to snow & 32°F.


A 16 degree drop in 3hrs during the day.

Cambium you missed out on a bunch of lightning in eastern CT and Long Island! There has also been some with that line in NJ.

Good. Dont need it. Unless its snowing.

January lightning, but moreso thunder, is nothing new for CT. It happens. I would say 4 of last 8 yrs by memory. Probably every 3-5 yrs on average?

Huh, I don't remember it happening in a while, either it's less common here or I just wasn't paying attention

Same thing happened here last night, there was just one in the entire area. I wonder what happens in the atmosphere to cause that but then no more.
