Lexington just hit 80F for the first time this month. The first 3 days of June stayed below 70°, and now the first 3 days of July stayed below 80°.

Not too hot out, but pretty humid. Pretty nasty. Or at least it feels that way. Just looked up the dew point. Surprised it's only 69F. It feels more humid than that.

.41 inches of rain today, on top of .30 we got here yesterday - can't complain about that. Sure is nice to have temps well below 90 too - and the forecast for the beach next week has zero 90's in it, thank goodness. Looks like a decent chance of t-storms each day too.

The PNW continues to bake. Current readings:

Seattle: 89 F/32 C
Portland: 91 F/33 C
Boise: 97 F/36 C

Look at this forecast for Kelowna, BC:

Not good for wildfires, considering the Kelowna area has been the target for some major ones in the past 15 years or so.
