I'll say this. I know the south is getting a bad rap these days, but this is shaping up to be yet another sub-par summer (which makes 3 in a row) of above normal precipitation, and below normal temperatures. I know I always said that if I ever moved to Florida I wouldn't base my decision soley on weather, but dammit if following this summer we have another brutally record breaking cold winter, I may have to rethink my stance!

I honestly cannot imagine a worse form of torture. You couldn't pay me enough to visit Phoenix in the middle of summer.

Now, a trip to Iceland in a couple of weeks, that'd be the ticket.

It'll never happen. The all-time record for London is something like 37 or 38C, correct? No possible way it could go all the way to 40 C. What a nightmare that would be!
