The sky's surprisingly blue today, considering the temperature and humidity, and no clouds either. It has a "low 70's, low humidity, and a light breeze" look to it, yet it has felt very "mid-summer" today.

Dusseldorf, Germany high 15.1c high today, rain, Kirov, Russia (58° 36' N) high 29.8c today, sun, 33.3c yesterday, nice bunch of 30c highs in May and nice amount of them in the forecast of this week.

Coastal Southeastern US have had some relentless heat lately. Heat advisories from North Carolina down to Florida.

Myrtle Beach, SC had a low of 82 F/28 C yesterday.

High of 98 F/37 C in Tallahassee, FL forecast for tomorrow.

Its pretty sick. Makes me glad to be here but nervous. I hope it doesn't move North next month.

HOnestly 12 days in a row above 90 in June in Charlotte isn't really surprising. Those 100 degree temps sure are though.

14 days 90+ this month It's the 4th most times June 1-22 period. Only 3 yrs had less since late 1800s. Surprised now? It is pretty crazy to see this early. When you use all of June, no 14 days is not big. Still 7 days left. Let's see if they can go for 21

Charlotte averages 10 days at or above 90 F/32 C in June. Most was 23 days in 1986.
