This clmate is miserable and ill-suited to doing things outside in summer. If you enjoy being cooped up inside in summer, this climate is just for you. You have a much longer time period when outdoor activities are possible.
I guess the weather we are having right now is very acceptable for outdoor activities - mostly sunny with temperatures 70F-72F by day and nights of 52F-58F is our forecast for the next week, but nights are too cool for me.. I think i'd love your summer I love the feeling of going out in the late evening just after sunset and feeling warm with shorts and a T-shirt still on.. that only really regularly happens in July/August here
Perhaps. I'd take it, though. August was much better that year, and of course it was followed by an awesome winter.
True. August was a complete turnaround from a miserable June and July. I wish we could have a repeat of June 2012. Memorably pleasant month.

I love having the windows open for fresh air, but warm and muggy nights prevent that from happening. Air is too stagnant.
I see a low of 58 F/14 C in the forecast tomorrow night so maybe it'll be a little more pleasant.

I like having cool mornings, can go for bike rides without sweating, air smells fresh. Lows are forecast to be in the low to mid 50s this week.
They sound all right. Certainly an improvement compared to this horse manure. However, I'd say perfect more accurately describes, oh, ReykjavÃk's summers.
Went to a high school graduation tonight. Everyone had jackets on. There I was with shorts. I'll admit was chilly for it but still got poison ivy rash so needed to.
Chilly 60s in June here. Cloudy all day and evening. That means a warm night if stays cloudy.
My batteries are being recharged. Ready for 2 days of 80s now. Lol

If I'm doing physical activity or sport then I prefer high 50s/60s.. A nice casual bike ride would be nice in the 80s and sun though for me, providing dew points are no higher than about 18C

I guess perfect compared to what we have to contend with.
Reykjavik sounds wonderful right about now. Highs in the 50s this week.
