Finally - we got rain! Probably at least an inch - enough to flood the streets a bit when I went out to grab a burger. Now I can get on the plane nice and relaxed tomorrow...lol.
The dewpoint at 4 pm was 70 - so the air was certainly primed for rain. Got a couple claps of thunder, no wind, but no complaints either, I just wanted a decent rain. The dry spell lasted 19 days, I think.
We got two heavy rainstorms after a dry spell yesterday. Washed away all that nasty pollen and dust. Hopefully put the pin in drought development for a little while.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping too - the dryness was getting to be quite noticeable in these parts.
Got up to 84F/29C at MDW and 82F/28C at ORD today. Storms missed us. Dew point just missed 70F/21C at the city airports... My suburb did reach a dew point of 71F/22C.... Now at 7PM it's mostly sunny...
How would you like to go running in a real jungle? Looks pretty grueling, with the combination of mountainous terrain and hot weather.
Cool, Thanks for that... Saw most of it. Yeah doing that in the 80s it sounded like with maybe a breeze still above my limit. He didn't mention humidity but from the looks of it might of been very humid. The ants and the bugs would be so annoying and un motivating..
