High temp was 79F/26C at ORD and 82F/28C at MDW in Chicago. Clouds hung around a little longer than expected but cleared up by mid afternoon. Dew points were in the upper 60's and hit 70F+ in a few stations including Joliet, and in my suburb..

Still rain happening out there.. Temps in the 60s and I have a red blob coming. Downpour if it holds up as is. Still moving SE direction.

Wow! A lot of warnings along that line. Rough night.

Still raining here. Might hit 1" total soon.

Euro Ensembles rainfall total next 10 days. 1.50" here and this doesn't include downpours (theres no way of knowing where, how long, and who). Interior New England still doesn't look rainy.

0.80" of rain between yesterday and last night. Another 2 inches and we have about normal for the month.

See how it works? lol My experience is never to worry about droughts here.

Central U.S going to get wet! Farmers loving it. Warming and Moisture

I'm confused, the NWS is forecasting a high of 80°F, weather underground 87°F. Which is it? This is a really big gap for a same day forecast, and the front past.

Looks like an inch or so here - I'd be thrilled to get that before the end of the month. Way below average, but a whole lot better than nothing. I just wish there was some way to sue the weather gods for inequality...lol.

While I can live with people having more than me (money), I get super jealous of those who get more rainfall than me, especially if they have lower averages than me (like out west) - it's just not fair!

I never trust the WU forecasts - that's why I have mine set to give the NWS only. Let us know which turns out to be correct (I'm putting my money with the NWS, of course.)

This season I've had worse luck with NWS, I use to assume it was automatically more trustworthy as well.
