Bydand, could you take a picture of all that snow to show us? I mean, I know there's probably not 181" on the ground, but it would be cool to see how much snow is currently on the ground.
Sorry it took so long, but it slipped my mind until today. I took these just a couple of hours ago on my return trip from Bangor. They have hardly any snow down there and it was 14 degrees warmer than up here in Northern Maine.
If you look the snow isn't tapering down behind the Suburban at all like a drift normally does. Just huge snowbanks beside the roads. Yes it is a full sized 4X4 Suburban. And no, there isn't a hill under the snow there, it is actually a rather flat field that slopes slightly down and away from the road.

I was just reading on the australian weather forums about the storms in Melbourne last night. Everyone is going ape-**** over the intensity of the lightning over the downtown and inner east and western suburbs. By the time the squall line reached me out here in the outer east, it had virtually died and I missed out I am disgusted.
Well thats it for storms until next Nov/Dec I guess.
